Mews house refurbishment

Full refurbishment of a three-storey mews house: rewire, replumb, new bathrooms and a reworked top floor, inside a conservation area.

Mews houses hide their services in awkward places, and this one had sixty years of previous attempts. We stripped back to brick, rewired and replumbed throughout, and reworked the top floor into a principal suite.

Working in a conservation area, on a street two vehicles cannot pass in, meant deliveries were booked to the half hour and the front elevation was repaired like for like. The neighbours wrote to the client afterwards to say how little they had noticed us, which we count as a review.
